I love art in every form, and am passionate about creative expression. This lead me to want to study Graphic Design at Palm Beach State College.
My Journey
My journey as a Graphic Designer started 2021 when we were in the middle of the pandemic and I was sitting at home contemplating what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was always passionate about creating and art, but with growing up with parents who taught me that I need to work hard in order to survive, my creativity was stifled. Durig the pandemic, while we were on lock
down, and literally sitting around doing nothing, I decided to give myself an outlet and I began scratching my creative itch. I started out with creating resin art and handmade jewelry. After a few months of doing that and turning it into a small side hustle, I sat outside on my balcony one day wondering how I could turn my passion into a career. I thought about it for awhile and it finally came to me.
During the pandemic, everything was virtual, work meetings, social meetups, happy hours, etc…..I thought, why not combine new age life with my passion for creating? I applied for college the very next day, and here we are three years later. Everything is still internet-heavy and I now have a Graphic Design degree under my belt!
Creative Projects
Creative writing is something I recently started, but has always been something that I wanted to do. I do it primarily for enjoyment, but it has lead me to learn new skills that I can apply directly to my professional life.
